Options
N.º 1Flat background
For screenshots, stickers and studio shots: it detects the edge color and removes it instantly.
N.º 2Wand
Tap a color in the image and that whole connected area is erased. Adjust the tolerance below the canvas.
N.º 3Person (AI)
Separates people from the background with a model that runs on your device. The first time it downloads about 6 MB.
N.º 4Brush touch-up
Erase what’s left over or restore what went missing. Ctrl+Z undoes and Ctrl+Shift+Z redoes.
N.º 1Classic meme
The size adjusts itself so the text fits; slide it to make it bigger or smaller.
N.º 2Free text
Select a text on the canvas or add a new one.
N.º 1Stickers
N.º 2Another image
Add a second image as a layer; you can cut it out too.
N.º 3Layers
The top one sits above the rest.
N.º 1Canvas size
N.º 2Canvas background
N.º 3Cutout only
Transparent PNG of the cut-out image, without text or stickers.
N.º 4Full meme
JPG doesn’t support transparency: transparent areas come out white (or the background color).
How to use it
Remove the background
- Open, drop or paste an image. Screenshots and stickers on a single-color background work best with Flat background.
- If some background is left, raise the tolerance; if it eats into your subject, lower it. For photos of people, use Person (AI).
- The wand erases areas of one color when you tap them, and the brush refines the edges.
Build the meme
- Type the top and bottom text or add free text and stickers.
- Drag to move. The corners rotate, resize or delete. On a phone, pinch with two fingers.
- On a keyboard: the arrow keys move the selected layer (Shift goes faster) and Delete removes it.
